Dog Gone Racing is headquartered in Southern Pennsylvania, conveniently located between Baltimore/Washington, Harrisburg, and Philadelphia. Our 3000+ square foot shop is equipped to meet all your racing needs, including repair, race preparation and storage of your race car between events. Mike and Chris Amy are the founders of Dog Gone Racing, and together they look forward to working personally with you to help you meet your racing needs!

Mike Amy is a highly experienced millwright with over 24 years working hands-on in mechanical contracting, including design, fabrication, and welding. An SCCA member since 1992, Mike has worked on a variety of race cars, most recently spending three years as the shop foreman for an SCCA Northeastern Region CSR, working specifically on Spec Racer Fords and the new SCCA Formula/Sports Racer. Mike is also an experienced driver, having spent several years racing go-karts before stepping into a Spec Racer Ford. In his first full year of National competition, Mike qualified for and competed in the SCCA's National Championship Run-Offs event in the ultra-competitive Spec Racer Ford class. In 2005, Mike qualified for his second consecutive invitation to the Run-Offs, this time in the DGR Spec Racer Ford!

Chris Amy is the Office Manager for DGR, and handles all of the day-to-day business needs, including all bookkeeping, billing, and general marketing for Dog Gone Racing.
